Held in the art studio at OXYGENIC, Whitley Bay with Zara Waters
Various dates available
All materials, guidance and finished artwork included.
For thousands of years, people have gathered to mark their lives through art. Here in the art studio we continue that tradition. Working with raw materials and guidance, you will learn how to create instinctively within a space designed for creativity and reflection.
This isn’t about learning how to paint like someone else. It’s about discovering what is possible when you learn to switch off your thinking mind and begin to create instinctively.
You’ll be guided in how to use the materials, and be supported throughout. There is no template. No copying. Just you, the materials, your instinct and intuition, and the energy of the room.
And when that happens, something changes, something shifts and something makes sense.
You leave not just with a finished piece of art, but with the feeling of having met a part of yourself that is alive, creative and entirely your own.

ONE TO ONE PRIVATE SESSIONS

If you’ve been searching for a therapeutic way to explore change, anxiety or something that won’t quite shift, these private one to one creative sessions with Zara Waters offer a different way of approaching what’s been difficult to move through.
You do not need to be good at art.
And you do not need to be good at talking.
Zara will work with whatever needs to emerge.
These private one to one sessions can be booked as a one off experience or as an alternative to talking therapy.
CREATIVE WORKSHOPS

Some people arrive at the studio expecting an art class. Others expect something closer to a therapy session. What they find is something quite different.
That difference isn’t accidental.
Zara has spent over twenty years working with people through therapy and somatic practice, and over time she saw that change doesn’t always happen through trying to talk things through.
It happens when we come out of our heads and into something we can actually experience.
